Emergency Freezers

The Medical College has available two -80°C Revco freezers for emergency short-term (i.e., approx. 1 week) use by investigators who experience a freezer breakdown that requires repair. This service is intended to help minimize the loss of valuable reagents and samples in the event of a -80°C freezer breakdown. Emergency protocols established by the Facilities Management and Campus Operations Office should be followed in the event of a freezer emergency.
