Nancy M. and Samuel C. Fleming Research Scholar Award in Intercampus Collaborations

Program Details: The Nancy M. and Samuel C. Fleming Research Scholar Award in Intercampus Collaborations was established through a generous commitment to provide endowed funding to outstanding scientists who are building independent research programs. Income from the RSA endowment will allow talented junior investigators the support needed to more thoroughly engage in advancing their research programs. 

Center for Life Science Enterprise/Center for Advanced Technology Call for Proposals

Proposals must be biotechnology focused, show promise for the commercial market, and applicants must have a company collaborator. The maximum amount of the award is $75K for one year, matched to a company’s support. We are also offering a limited number of add-on awards for materials needs for up to $5,000 each, thanks to Cornell’s Center for Materials Research. 

The CAT funding awards require collaborative applied research and technology transfer with company partners that will lead to quantifiable economic impact in New York State.

Russell Sage Foundation - Visiting Scholars Program

The Russell Sage Foundation's Visiting Scholars Program provides a unique opportunity for select scholars in the social, economic and behavioral sciences to pursue their research and writing while in residence at the Foundation’s New York headquarters. Research carried out by Visiting Scholars constitutes an important part of the Foundation’s ongoing effort to analyze and understand the complex and shifting nature of social and economic life in the United States.

Chan Zuckerberg Initiative - Essential Open Source Software for Science

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is inviting applications for open source software projects that are essential to biomedical research. Applicants can request funding between $50k and $250k for one year. This RFA is the first of a series.
