OSRA has issued a revised Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Processing Outgoing Subawards. This update reflects current systems and processes and provides guidance for managing collaborations with external organizations, including the review of subrecipient participation during proposal development and the establishment, modification, and management of outgoing subaward agreements under sponsored awards issued to WCM. 

The updated SOP outlines the roles and responsibilities of departments, principal investigators, and OSRA throughout the subaward lifecycle to help ensure compliance with sponsor and institutional requirements.

The updated policy is available here and has been posted on the OSRA website under Policies & Procedures.

Department staff involved in the administration and management of sponsored research awards are expected to review and familiarize themselves with the updated policy.
