Criteria:
Must be within five years of your first independent investigator position or within five years of an independent research position in academia, government, or industry.
Must submit an abstract to the 19th International Vascular Biology Meeting. Go here to submit an abstract.

The NAVBO Meritorious Awards Committee will select the recipient based on recommendations from meeting organizers. The organizers will review submitted abstracts and applications and select two to three from their respective themes and submit those to the committee for consideration.
The recipient will give a 30 minute presentation (including time for Q&A) at the IVBM, during the Closing Session on Thursday, November 3 and receive a certificate and a monetary award of $750.
