Young Investigator Award

The Union's two Young Investigator Awards are given in recognition of young post-doctoral scientists who has already made a significant contribution to psychological science through excellent research, publications, success in securing research grants and visibility. 
Two awards are available in this category: one is for young investigators within basic science, and one is for those working within applied science. 
Presentation of the awards will be at the 31st International Congress of Psychology (ICP) in Yokohama, Japan, July 2016. Awardees will be invited to present an address at the Congress. Funds to cover travel and accommodation related to attending the award ceremony will be provided.

Lifetime Award

The Lifetime Career Award honors distinguished and enduring lifetime contributions to international cooperation and advancement of knowledge in the field of psychological science. This award also brings the work of distinguished scientists to the attention of a broader audience and promotes the contribution of psychology as a discipline to the public good. 
Presentation of the award will be at the 31st International Congress of Psychology (ICP) in Yokohama, Japan, July 2016. The awardee will be invited to present an address at the Congress. Funds to cover travel and accommodation related to attending the award ceremony will be provided. 
The deadline for nominations is 31 March 2015.
