Through a generous commitment, the World Quant Foundation established the WorldQuant Foundation Research Scholar Award to provide endowed funding to outstanding scientists who are building independent research programs. Income from the RSA endowment will allow talented junior investigators the support needed to more thoroughly engage in advancing their research programs.
The WorldQuant RSA welcomes nominations with a preference for research in computational biology or big dataanalysis. Additional eligibility criteria are listed below.

Eligibility
- Full-time Assistant or Associate Professor with an independent research program
- Cannot concurrently hold another internal endowed award
- Candidates with institutional or Dean-level start-up funds are not eligible. Please note that faculty with start-up funds provided by the department are eligible to apply.
Application Requirements
- Letter of Nomination from the Chair of Department of Head of Division (1-2 pages)
- Statement from the nominee describing their research background, current research efforts, and future goals. This should also include a statement about how this award will help them to achieve their future research objectives. (1-2 pages)
- Updated CV in WCM-style
