Program Objective: The Dr. Scholl Foundation is a private, independent grant-making foundation for charitable purposes. The Foundation is dedicated to providing financial assistance to organizations committed to improving our world. Solutions to the problems of today’s world still lie in the values of innovation, practicality, hard work and compassion. Grants are made annually after an extensive review of the application by the staff and all the directors of the Dr. Scholl Foundation.

Applications for grants are considered in the following Healthcare areas:

  • Aging
  • End of life care
  • AIDS research
  • Cancer research
  • Mental Health

The categories above are not intended to limit the interest of the Foundation from considering other worthwhile projects. The Foundation guidelines are intentionally broad to give flexibility in providing grants.
