Group Peer Mentoring (GPM) Program is a faculty development program co-led by Kimberly Bloom-Feshbach, MD and Swana De Gijsel, MD for Weill Cornell Faculty. Facilitated group peer mentoring has been shown in the literature to lead to career advancement, improve physician vitality, and have benefits in the realms of community building. We will have opportunities for faculty from a variety of career paths to join a peer mentoring group, including early and mid-career researchers, clinician-educators, leaders in medical education, and experienced faculty.
In this program, participants will: 1) participate in regular development workshop from October 2025 to June 2026; 2) Develop a career vision aligned with your core values, strengths, and identities; 3) Create individually designed goals and plans for personal and professional development; 4) Learn mentoring skills to help others define their goals and achieve their plans; 5) Harness best practices for leadership and teamwork; & 6) Gain enhanced meaning in work within a scholarly community.
This program meets 4 days a year, prior application required. See event website for details. Sessions will begin on 10/16/2025. No late applications and no midyear applicants will be acepted.
