The program in Pediatric Neuro-oncology offers a one year fellowship in clinical and/or investigative neuro-oncology. Clinical fellows will receive training in diagnosis and management of primary central nervous system tumors in children and young adults. Investigative areas include molecular biology of brain tumors, angiogenesis and immunotherapy.
The program begins on July 1. Our fellowship is not ACGME-accredited.

Eligibility
Applicants should have completed training in an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship or Child Neurology residency, and must have completed USMLE I, II, III.
Foreign medical graduates with equivalent qualifications are also eligible to apply and must have completed all three of the USMLE examinations, a CSA exam, and hold a valid ECFMG certificate.

Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation (including one from Program Director or Department Chair) addressed to the Program Director, Dr. Stephen Gilheeney, a curriculum vitae, and a personal statement. All items can be submitted via PDF to the Education Program Coordinator, Amy Thornton, at thorntoa@mskcc.org. Letters of recommendation can be emailed; however, a hard copy with original signature must also be mailed to the address below.
