This fellowship is offered to provide extensive training in the therapeutic use of radioisotopes, positron emission tomography, and conventional nuclear medicine in patients with cancer. Each fellow must actively participate in clinical research projects that are ongoing in the department; these include radiotherapy with novel immune constructs, as well as the use of specific PET tracers for metabolic imaging of human tumors. In addition, there will be an opportunity for basic instruction in biomathematics, imaging physics, radiochemistry, and medical oncology.
